What skills will I develop?
Develop your skills in computer software such as Photoshop, 2D design, Pro-Desktop and Flash. Enjoy learning how to edit and manipulate images and photographs. Have fun using the laser cutter to make high quality products. Design and make packaging that looks good enough to be seen on the shelves in a shop! How will I know if this course will suit me? Do you enjoy working with colour, text and images? Would you like to design an advert to feature in a fashion magazine? Could you design an interesting logo for a new clothing range? Are you creative and like to solve problems? What can I do at the end of the course? Study an A’ level in Graphics or Product design. There are so many different jobs in the exciting world of design graphic. See Mr. Holmes for more information. What visits and Work Related Learning Opportunities will there be? Take a camera to the O2 arena and then design a new poster to advertise it. Visit a theme park and design new logos for the rides! Visit Kent and design advertisements for the tourist board. Plus visits to the Design museum and other interesting exhibitions.
