Indoor Rowing Competition.

Wednesday 28th January 2009. Oaklands School Bethnal Green.

The Tower Hamlets borough competition, was hosted by Oaklands school last week on the 28th Jan. 2009 saw a record turnout with eight schools from the borough taking part, each with two teams.Central Foundation was well represented by a full complement of students from Year 7 to Year 11 with the Year 7s going head to head 2 mins up to the Year 11s sweating it out for 6 mins. All the races were hotly contested with most of them decided by a matter of milliseconds. The final relay really got the crowd going. Central Foundation joined forces with Stepney Boys and just missed out on victory to a powerful Swanlea team. Well done on a great effort girls!Well done to the following fantastic rowers, Aziza  7T, Majeda 7T, Randa 8Q, Hibaq  8E, and Gufran  9A.
